【環院》2016年計量生態工作坊，誠摯地邀請大家前來參與一同學習交流~
世界知名的生態統計學家，加拿大科學院院士 Pierre Legendre 博士，將於 4/11 - 4/30 來台訪問三週。為了提升臺灣生態研究及資料分析的能量，我們安排了兩場計量生態工作坊，由 Pierre Legendre 博士主講生態資料之分析與解讀。 課程內容： 第一場次訂於集集特生中心舉行，日期為4/17-19，內容以多變量分析（Multivariate statistics）為主，主題包含： 1. Ordination methods for community ecology: principal component analysis (PCA), correspondence analysis (CA), principal coordinate analysis (PCoA). 2. Transformation of species abundance data tables prior to linear analyses. 3. Measures of similarity and distance, especially for community composition data. 4. Canonical redundancy analysis (RDA) and canonical correspondence analysis (CCA). 5. Partial regression and variation partitioning. 6. Statistical testing by permutation. 第二場次將於福山植物園舉行，日期為4/27-4/29，內容以Beta diversity的解析為主，主題包含： 1. Origin of spatial structures (15 or 20 min.) 2. Beta diversity partitioning and LCBD indices 3. Replacement and richness difference components of beta diversity. 4. Temporal beta diversity: computation and interpretation. Examples of space-time and time(weeks)-time(years) analyses. 5. Spatial modelling: Multi-scale modelling of the spatial structure of ecological communities. The dbMEM, generalized MEM, and AEM methods. 6. Community surveys through space and time: testing the space-time interaction in repeated surveys. 課程進行方式： 上午為Dr. Legendre的lecture（每天進行兩個主題），下午則為針對當天上午課程內容，以R language為界面進行資料分析的演練。另外，Dr. Legendre要求每位參與學員準備一個10分鐘的報告，說明自己的研究主題，想要使用的統計分析方法及有關分析上的問題。這個報告可能安排在晚上時段或每天下午的一段時間。Dr. Legendre也在針對課程主題製作網頁，到時所有課程內容、R code及演練用的dataset都會在裡面。 課程要求： 1. 熟習R language（可獨立操弄資料及進行基本統計分析） 2. 手邊已有可以分析的資料 3. 修過基本的統計課，且對多變量分析稍有了解者。 4. 必須全程參與。 我們誠摯地邀請大家前來參與一同學習交流。有意參加本次計量生態工作坊的同好，請在 3/25 以前於工作坊網站（https://sites.google.com/site/ecologyworkshop2016/）之「網路報名」頁面中完成報名；報名人數均以30人為上限。本工作坊不收取費用，但學員須自行負擔食宿費用。 特生中心可提供住宿（每人每晚 200 元）及用餐（早餐每人 60 元，中、晚餐便當 80 元）。福山研究中心的場次則統一安排住宿（每人每晚 350 元）及用餐（早餐每人 50 元，午、晚餐 150 元）。因特生中心住宿空間有限，請於報名網頁註明是否需要住宿。 我們期待您的到來。 東華大學 孫義方 敬邀
