本次課程的主題為：

Recent Advances in Spatial Analysis of Multivariate Ecological Data: Theory and Practice

已收到講者（Pierre Legendre）的同意邀請。目前的規劃是一個20人的短期課程班，由於課程比較進階，Pierre要提醒參加者，必須先熟悉和複習一下基礎統計學的內容（如correlation, regression, analysis of variance, and statistical testing等等）。

另外，課程規劃為上午講課、下午實作，實作使用的軟體為R，老師請參加者事先學習或練習一下R的使用方式，以使實作過程更順利。

報名及其他相關事宜請見附件，並請協助散佈本研習會之訊息給其他可能有興趣之師長及學生。

我們期待能與大家共同切磋，進一步瞭解生態系統的各種模式並探究其成因。

I would like to make a formal announcement on the workshop titled "Recent Advances in Spatial Analysis of Multivariate Ecological Data: Theory and Practice." The workshop will be led by Pierre Legendre from Canada.

Participants to the workshop are required to familiarize themselves with basic statistics such as correlation, regression, analysis of variance, and statistical testing. They should also have basic skill in the use of R package.
