恭喜本系碩士班(地科組)畢業校友William Keyser (康威廉，2015年1月畢業) 於去年9月取得澳洲University of Adelaide博士學位(PhD)，他的博士論文(Mineralogy and Geochemistry of Iron-Oxides in Precambrian Banded Iron Formations of the Middleback Ranges, South Australia)，經過該校評選為當年度(2019)傑出博士論文之一，將於今年四月的畢業典禮獲頒博士研究獎章(Doctoral Research Medal)。
