The specific stream you were accepted for (English-taught or Chinese-taught) is the only program that you are able to take. If you wish to switch, you must apply to do so once you arrive. Your application will be re-evaluated and, if accepted, you will be able to switch. If not, you will be only allowed to take the program you were accepted for. For international students wanting to take the English or Chinese program, there is a requirement to show language proficiency. However, if you wish to only take a/some courses in the other stream, you are welcome to. These courses will be taught in the respective language only, and students will be expected to be able to take part in discussions and make presentations also in the respective language. Please be aware that the graduation requirements for the Chinese-taught and the English-taught program differ slightly. When you decide to switch programs, please be certain that you are following the proper set of regulations.
