Q: Are declined applications definite, or should I wait to see if other students refuse acceptance and my application is reconsidered?

All decisions made by the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Studies (NRES) are final. If you are not accepted, it is a final decision – there will be no re-assessment based on the number of students that accept. However, you are invited to re-apply the following year if you are interested.

If you were accepted but are not able to start your studies the upcoming year, there is an opportunity to postpone your application for the following year. This option is available, though you will be required to fill out a set of forms to officially defer for a year. For this, please contact the Office of International Affairs and Academics directly (issa@mail.ndhu.edu.tw).
