Most common medical supplies are available in drugstores throughout Taiwan. Common necessities (band-aides/Elastoplasts, cold and flu symptom relief medicine, sunscreen, etc) are easily available. Panadol (acetaminophen, paracetamol) is widely available, while Advil/Nurofen (ibuprofen) and Aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) are much less commonly available. Most female hygiene products can be found easily in Taiwan, though sanitary napkin/pantyliner style is much more common than tampon style products.

The Taiwan medical system is very advanced and efficient, and prescription drugs can be obtained easily at a doctor’s office, the hospital, or at selected pharmacies throughout each city. Non-prescription supplies, such as deodorant, skin creams, and similar products are easily found in all small and large cities.
