【Director’s welcome】
Congratulations on your admission to the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Studies at National Dong Hwa University for the 2019 autumn semester (academic semester 108-1)!
On behalf of the university and our department, I would like to welcome you as you start this wonderful chapter of your academic career with us in Taiwan. You will find National Dong Hwa University (NDHU) to be a welcoming and inclusive university, with both academic and personal opportunities that will make your experience here profoundly influential. As a leading academic institution in Taiwan, we are dedicated to developing not only a sound academic program but also an inclusive international atmosphere. As such, we want to make sure that you will receive the acceptance letter from the Office of International Office (OIA) at NDHU and that you understand all the details of your acceptance. We are all looking forward to meet you.
NDHU scholarship funding for the semesters following depends on your academic performance and other factors per semester. The current NDHU scholarship recipients with 100% and 50% basic tuition waiver may have an opportunity to receive a financial support by our college. In order to complete registration and to prepare all the necessary documents that NDHU requires, you will need to receive also the NDHU Student Guidebook which outlines all procedures and required documents. If we know that you are intending to register with us, we can make sure you receive a copy of this document. This is the most important consideration now as there are many documents that you need to prepare before you leave home. The university needs these specific documents to complete your registration once you arrive. Please follow the guidebook which is offered by our OIA to find out what documents are needed, and remember that it is always best to carry extra copies of all documents.
